Every Saturday morning from June 17th through August 26th from 9:00 a.m. until Noon. Severe weather may cancel or shorten the market.
Can I set up a booth?
We welcome vendors offering fresh produce, meat, honey, syrup, baked goods, canned goods and jellies, handmade crafts, furniture...if you grow it, make it, or bake it, we have a spot for you! Please visit the Vendor Application page for more details.
How are vendor booths assigned?
Vendors who make a seasonal, weekly commitment to attending the 2023 Farmer's Market will be assigned a permanent booth space. Others who want to attend occasionally will be allowed to select a non-assigned booth space at 7:00 a.m. each Saturday morning. These will be available on a first-come, first-assigned basis.
Do I have to have a permit? Is there a fee?
While there is no fee to be a vendor at the Farmer's Market. The Marion County Health Department issues food handling licenses to some vendors. Call them for requirements and an application.
What's "Music On The Porch"?
We have a lovely shaded back porch that makes the perfect stage for area performers! We've had solo acts, brass bands, bluegrass, and more. If you're interested in entertaining our Farmer's Market folks, please visit the Musical Acts Application page.
How is the Historic Farmer's Market & Music On The Porch promoted?
Farmer's Market organizers post photos and information on social media on a regular basis to make sure the community knows which vendors will be at the weekly market. Some advertising may be done through local radio and print media outlets. Vendors and musical acts are encouraged to promote the market and their booth via their own social media platforms...links and Facebook shares are appreciated!
